Aaron Nix

Aaron Nix is a seasoned professional in public administration and environmental management with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Capital Projects Manager for the City of Shelton since July 2023, Aaron previously worked as a Park’s Planner for Kitsap County Parks, overseeing planning services for over 11,000 acres of parkland and open space. Aaron's career includes significant positions such as General Manager for Lake Cushman Maintenance Company, Assistant City Administrator for the City of Edgewood, Public Works and Community Development Director for the City of Milton, and Natural Resources Manager for the City of Black Diamond. Education includes a Master's degree in Public/Business Administration from Seattle University and two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Chemistry/Environmental Science and Environmental Chemistry from The Evergreen State College.
