Gene Nichols

Gene Nichols is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in board governance and community service. Currently serving as a Board Member for Face to Face and the Association for Non Smokers - Mn, as well as a Human Rights Commissioner for the City Of Shoreview since June 2018, Gene has demonstrated a strong commitment to public health and human rights. Additional roles include participation on the Minnesota State Advisory Committee for the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association and as a Board Member for the Tobacco Free Alliance. Gene's past leadership includes serving as Chairman of the Board for Open Cities Health Clinic and involvement with Ramsey County's Community Health Service Advisory Committee. Gene's background in campaign management, demonstrated through the role as Campaign Manager for Representative Barb Yarusso, complements a solid educational foundation with a BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and campaign management training from Camp Wellstone Action.
