Dat Luu, CISSP, currently serves as the Director of Information Technology for the City of Smyrna, GA Government since November 2020, following a role as Assistant Director of Information Technology. Previously, Dat Luu was the Network and Systems Security Manager at Douglas County, GA, and held various positions at the City of Smyrna, including IT Manager and Server Administrator. Early in the career, Dat Luu provided technical support as a Help Desk Support at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers and worked with Best Buy’s GeekSquad Autotech. Dat Luu started with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Florida International University and a Master of Sciences in Management of Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University. Responsibilities include ensuring high availability of IT systems and providing staff support.
