Mark Miller

Mark Miller is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in various industries. Mark currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at the Port of Tacoma, where they lead a team focused on enabling the port and the Northwest Seaport Alliance. In this role, Mark has focused on driving cybersecurity maturity, improving IT digital and enterprise application strategy, and enhancing IT operational excellence through IT service management.

Prior to their current position, Mark served as VP Information Technology at Weyerhaeuser. This role was the result of the merger between Weyerhaeuser and Plum Creek, where Mark provided leadership to a team of 250 IT professionals. Mark'sresponsibilities included ensuring IT operational excellence and delivering on a complex IT project portfolio.

Before their time at Weyerhaeuser, Mark was the VP & CIO at Plum Creek, where they held responsibility for transforming the company's IT department. Mark successfully drove IT operational excellence through a service management program, delivered expected business results for a significant IT capital investment portfolio, and led the development of an IT vision and strategic plan.

Mark also gained valuable experience at Microsoft as a Senior IT Director and at Interlink (Acquired Equarius) as a VP & GM. Additionally, they served as the President & CEO at Equarius, where they led significant revenue and employee growth. Mark began their career at Unisource Worldwide, Inc. as the Director of Process and Information & Customer Service Manager, and they gained over six years of business consulting experience at Accenture.
