Emily Sullivan

Emily Sullivan, AICP, currently serves as the Climate Change Program Manager for the City of Somerville, where responsibilities include managing over $2.5 million in grants and leading efforts to enhance resiliency against climate change. Previously, Emily held the position of Conservation Director for the Town of Hingham and worked as an Environmental Planner and Conservation Agent for the Town of Arlington. An extensive background in urban planning and environmental management is complemented by experience as a research assistant at Texas A&M University, where projects focused on resilience policies and disaster recovery methodologies. Emily's professional history also includes roles with the Houston Health Department and The World Bank, alongside earlier work in environmental management at Triumvirate Environmental and sustainability initiatives at GreenerU. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Urban Planning with a focus on Environmental Hazard Management from Texas A&M University and a BA in Environmental Studies from the College of the Holy Cross.
