David Finley

David Finley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. David began their career as a Parliamentary Intern to the President of Ireland, where they coordinated daily agendas, organized fundraising events, and provided administrative assistance. David then worked as a Research Assistant for the UNC School of Government, conducting research and writing articles on various topics. In 2014, they joined the Town of Chapel Hill, NC, where they served as a Manager's Office Intern, Management and Budget Analyst, and eventually became a Project Manager overseeing the design and implementation of the city's Strategic Planning framework. In 2019, David joined the City of South Bend as the Director of Business Analytics, leading the City's performance management program and supporting data-driven decision-making across departments. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in analytics, performance management, and innovation.

David Finley holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in the UNC School of Government. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2010, they also studied Public Administration & Economics at the Ireland Institute of Public Administration. In 2022, David obtained an Executive Certificate in Public Narrative: Leadership, Storytelling, and Action from the Harvard Kennedy School.
