Assistant City Manager at City of South Lake Tahoe

Hilary Roverud has extensive experience in urban planning and city management, currently serving as Assistant City Manager for the City of South Lake Tahoe since May 2011, while also holding positions such as Director and Deputy Director of Development Services. Prior to this, Hilary worked for the City of South Lake Tahoe as Planning Manager and Associate Planner, and gained experience as an Environmental Planner at Rincon Consultants, Inc. Additional roles include Assistant Planner for the City of San Luis Obispo and the City of Arcata, and GPS Field Researcher for Zenrin Co. Ltd. Hilary earned a Master of City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, along with ongoing education in Alternative Dispute Resolution at Humboldt State University.
