Thomas Stuart

Thomas Stuart, CGHR-CP, serves as Assistant to the City Manager II and Principal Human Resources Analyst for the City of South Lake Tahoe since February 2018. Previously, Thomas held positions as Human Resources Manager at The Alvarado Group and Director of Human Resources at BBSI, where leadership extended to managing HR functions for over 450 associates across California and Nevada. Thomas has considerable experience in human resources, starting from a Director role at Boghosian Raisin Packing and a VP position at US Foodservice, overseeing HR operations, payroll, and staff management. Thomas is adept in technology initiatives, having led projects involving various HR systems and recruitment tools. Thomas earned a degree from the University of Phoenix between 2008 and 2011.
