Elvin Barren

Elvin Barren has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as the Chief of Police for the City of Southfield. Prior to this role, Barren held positions such as Deputy Chief at the Detroit Police Department, overseeing operations in multiple precincts and specialized divisions. Barren has a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Bowling Green State University, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University and an Associate's Degree in Law Enforcement Administration from Wayne County Community College District.
