Stephen Lonergan

Stephen Lonergan currently serves as the Treasurer/Collector/Tax Title Custodian for the City of Springfield, Massachusetts, a position held since January 2023. Prior roles include Finance Director/Town Accountant for the Town of East Longmeadow from July 2020 to December 2022 and City Treasurer/Collector as well as Tax Title Custodian for the City of Springfield from February 2010 to July 2020. Additionally, Stephen held the presidency of the Massachusetts Collector Treasurer Association from July 2019 to June 2020. Stephen earned a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley College.
