Tyrone Denson

Tyrone Denson is a seasoned fire service professional with extensive experience in emergency management and firefighting. Currently serving as District Fire Chief for the City of Springfield, Massachusetts since January 2020, Tyrone previously held the position of Fire Captain with the Springfield Fire Department from November 2014 to January 2020. Earlier in their career, from July 1986 to August 2011, Tyrone worked as an Anesthesia Technician at Baystate Health. Tyrone holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University and a Bachelor of Science in Fire Service Administration from SUNY Empire State College.
