Zach Martin serves as the Principal Engineer for the City of Springfield, Missouri, since March 2018, overseeing the Environmental Services - Water Quality Management and Protection division, which focuses on compliance with federal regulations and enhancing water quality through strategic planning and investment in sewer and stormwater systems. Previously, Zach worked as a Professional Engineer within the same division, managing sanitary sewer capital improvement projects and collection system master planning. Prior experience includes a role as a Hydrologist at the U.S. Geological Survey from October 2009 to March 2018. Zach holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, completed in 2012 and 2011, respectively.
