Scott Rodda

Director Community Social Development at CITY OF SPRUCE GROVE

Scott Rodda has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. From 2022, they have been working as the Director of Community Social Development for the City of Spruce Grove. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Family & Community Support Services at Sturgeon County starting in 2019.

Scott has also worked as a Consultant and Partner at Infinity Consulting Inc since 2000, where they provided leadership, training, and program development for various organizations. Additionally, they have served as a Trainer & Coach for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training at LivingWorks Education & CSP since 1988.

From 2002 until 2018, Scott held the position of Director of Family and Community Support Services at the City of St. Albert. In this role, they provided leadership, community development, budget and HR management, program development, and grant funding. Scott also represented the FCSS Program at various levels and played a significant role in its initiatives, policies, and development.

Scott Rodda obtained their Diploma in Child and Youth Care from MacEwan University in 1984, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Child and Youth Care with a specialization in Community Development from the University of Victoria, completed in 1986. Later, in 2009, they enrolled at the University of Alberta's School of Business and obtained a Certificate in Municipal Management and Leadership in 2011.
