Ben Sures

Ben Sures is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in the arts and performance sector. Currently serving as a Professional Programming Presenter for the City of St. Albert since May 2023, Ben has also held the role of Artistic Director of Stage at The Works Art and Design Festival in Edmonton since June 2012, overseeing a diverse range of performances. As a self-employed Singer Songwriter since 1994, Ben has released six albums and contributed commissioned works for notable programs such as The Irrelevant Show. Ben has worked with CBC/Radio-Canada as a commissioned songwriter and served as International Artist Liaison for the Edmonton International Street Performer's Festival until September 2023. Additionally, Ben has a background in event production as the Host Producer for the Prairie Music Week Industry Awards from 1996 to 1999. Ben Sures studied at The University of Winnipeg from 1986 to 1988.
