Payton Homeak has over six years of experience in environmental coordination and sustainability within various organizations. Currently serving as the Environmental Coordinator for the City of St. Albert since May 2019, Payton has been involved in community strategy and engagement, as well as environmental events and programs. Previous roles include Sustainability Coordinator at Goodwill Industries of Alberta and Composting Educator for the City of Edmonton. Payton's career began as a Front Store Supervisor at Shoppers Drug Mart and as Garden Supervisor at George Pegg Botanic Garden. Academically, Payton holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology and a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Alberta, complemented by an international education experience in Cortona, Italy. Additionally, Payton has pursued further studies at Athabasca University.
