Sarah McDonald

Sarah McDonald is a seasoned professional in IT project management and geographic information systems (GIS) with extensive experience in both public administration and consultancy roles. Currently serving as the Manager of IT Projects & Business Relationship Management for the City of St. Albert since August 2018, Sarah leads initiatives in portfolio management, IT governance, and business relationships. Previous roles include Manager of IT Projects and Innovation, GIS Project Manager, and GIS Consultant across various organizations, including Strathcona County and Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Victoria, and multiple project management certifications from NAIT.
