Stephen Hill

Stephen Hill is a Geographic Information System (GIS) professional with extensive experience in GIS development and analysis. Currently serving as a GIS Developer for the City of St. John's since January 2023, Stephen previously held roles at Integrated Informatics Inc. and Tamarack Geographic Technologies Ltd., focusing on GIS application support and project management. Stephen's proficiency includes evaluating project GIS needs, creating cartographic figures, and developing web-based mapping applications, such as the School Catchment Viewer for the Eastern School District of Newfoundland and Labrador. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Geography and French from Memorial University, complemented by a French Immersion program at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
