Jay Morgan has extensive experience in Parks and Recreation, serving as the Office on Aging Manager for the City of St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department since March 1977. In this role, Jay administers two Adult Recreation Center Programs and two Community Service Centers, notably overseeing the first Senior Center in the state to achieve National Senior Center Accreditation. Previously, Jay was the Supervisor of the Sunshine Multi-Service Senior Center, a large and comprehensive facility that opened in September 1977. Additionally, Jay worked as a Manager for the City of St. Petersburg's Office on Aging from 1999 to 2010. Jay holds a Master's degree in Parks & Recreation Administration and Gerontology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the University of Central Missouri.
