Roger Johnson, P.E. currently serves as the Engineering Design Manager for the City of St. Petersburg, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Roger Johnson held various engineering positions at the City of Clearwater from June 2012 to July 2022, culminating in the title of Engineering Manager while also contributing as a Senior Professional Engineer in Transportation, Traffic Operations, and Transit, among other areas. Roger Johnson has volunteered as a Mentor at Sunshine Club Inc. from August 2016 to July 2022, supporting local youth, and has served as an Engineering Program Mentor at Eastlake High School from January 2010 to April 2014. Other professional experience includes roles at The Shaw Group, A Civil Design Group, David Nelson Construction, Parsons, and the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Roger Johnson earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.
