Xavier Herrera

Xavier Herrera currently serves as the Mayor Pro-Tem and City Council Member for the City of Stafford, TX, positions held since February 2021. In addition, Xavier holds the role of Executive Director for the Brays Oaks Management District until May 2024. Previous experience includes serving as Communications Director for the Fort Bend County Judge’s Office from January 2019 to April 2021, and as School Board Trustee and Board Vice-President for the Stafford Municipal School District from May 2015 to March 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing educational policies and expenditures. Earlier roles include public affairs and community outreach with the Harris County District Clerk and managerial positions within the Office of Mike Sullivan and the City of Houston. Xavier's educational background includes studies at Austin High School, Houston Community College, University of Houston, and University of Houston-Downtown.
