Mike Broadhead

Chief Of Police at City of Statesboro

Mike Broadhead has extensive experience in law enforcement. Mike began their career as a Military Police officer in the United States Army from 1984 to 1987. Mike then joined the City of Littleton, CO as a Police Lieutenant from 1988 to 2009, where they eventually retired. In 2010, they became the Chief of Police for the City of Riverton, Wyoming, holding the position until 2017. Since then, they have served as the Chief of Police for the City of Statesboro.

Mike Broadhead completed their education in a chronological order. Mike attended Westminster High School from 1981 to 1984. Mike then pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Arapahoe Community College between 1988 and 1993. Following this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Government from Columbia College from 1994 to 1998. Mike then obtained a Graduate Certificate from Northwestern University at the School For Police Staff and Command in 2005. Lastly, they completed their educational journey by obtaining a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the American Public University System between 2011 and 2015.
