Sarah Scowden

Sarah Scowden, PHR, is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as a Human Resources Coordinator at the City of Sterling Heights since June 2021, Sarah previously held positions at Trinity Health Senior Communities as a Senior Human Resources Specialist and Human Resources Coordinator from January 2017 to June 2021. Sarah began their career at McKesson as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, where responsibilities included processing and billing over 37,000 radiology procedures monthly and managing patient accounts. Earlier experience also includes a role as a Bank Teller at PNC, where Sarah improved customer service survey results and identified fraudulent checks, leading to significant savings for the bank. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Wayne State University.
