Eric Lachs

Eric Lachs serves as the Public Information Officer for the City of Sunrise since June 2018, enhancing communications within one of Florida's largest cities while promoting its family-friendly environment and business opportunities. Prior to this role, Eric was the Marketing Manager at Invicta Stores, where significant contributions included leading a comprehensive marketing strategy that resulted in a tenfold growth in e-commerce revenue. Experience also includes serving as Director of Client Relations at Marketing Matters, overseeing public relations, media training, and client engagement for various brands. Eric's career began as a Marketing Assistant at ARC Broward, followed by roles in nonprofit sectors, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement and strategic communications. Eric holds a BA in Media & Communication from the University of Florida.
