Shayla Myricks

Shayla Myricks has a solid background in accounting and financial management. Shayla is currently working as a Principal Accountant at the City of Tarrant since December 2021. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience as a Senior Accountant at the Jefferson County Commission from March 2020 to December 2021 and as an Accountant from June 2018 to March 2020. Shayla also served as a Payroll Coordinator at the City of Birmingham from August 2015 to June 2018.

Shayla Myricks obtained a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Strayer University, which they attended from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from Jacksonville State University, attending from 2006 to 2010.
