J. Kenneth Thompson

J. Kenneth Thompson, AICP, serves as a City Planner and Urban Designer for the City of Thomasville, Georgia, since April 2017. Previous experience includes positions as an Urban Designer at Stantec from December 2014 to April 2017 and at HDR between 2012 and 2014. J. Kenneth Thompson began a professional career as an intern in the Department of Environment and Community Development for Fulton County Government from November 2010 to December 2011, contributing to the Fulton County 2030 Comprehensive Master Plan. An earlier internship at ROMA Austin in 2008 involved landscape architecture tasks focused on transit station assessments using GIS and map rendering. J. Kenneth Thompson holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia.
