Billy Walowitz

Billy Walowitz, GISP, is a GIS Analyst I at the City of Thornton, Colorado, since February 2022, specializing in the creation of dashboards and webmaps, data analysis using SQL and Python, and participating in the case review process for new developments. Previously, Billy served as a Survey/GIS Technician for the City and County of Denver, where responsibilities included designing customer service feedback programs and updating GIS layers using ESRI's ArcGIS. Prior experience includes roles as a Temporary GIS Aide at the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, a Head Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, and a Geomatics Intern. Billy holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science with a focus on GIS/Planning from Montana State University-Bozeman.
