Michael Flanagan Pe

Michael Flanagan, PE, is a skilled civil engineer currently working with the Development Engineering team in the City Development Department of Thornton, Colorado, since November 2021. Previously, Michael served as an Associate Engineer at Olsson from June 2015 to November 2021, focusing on geotechnical engineering for various projects, and has hands-on experience from an engineering co-op at Hazen and Sawyer, where involvement included water and wastewater project design and construction. Additionally, Michael gained operational experience at Messer Construction Co. through multiple co-op roles, contributing to significant projects and exploring construction management technologies. Michael holds a Master of Civil Engineering with a geotechnical specialty from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
