City of Thunder Bay
Walter Turek is a Process Engineer currently employed by the City of Thunder Bay since November 2017, where responsibilities include working at an ultrafiltration drinking water treatment plant. Prior to this role, Turek served as Facilities Manager at Thunder Bay International Airports Authority Inc from June 2008 to October 2017. Turek's career includes experience as an Engineering Specialist at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada from May 2007 to June 2008, specializing in Paint North for the Toyota Matrix and Corolla. Earlier experience involved various progressively responsible positions at Irving Tissue from July 2000 to May 2007, starting as a Process Engineer during Procter & Gamble's ownership, before ascending to Site Continuous Improvement Manager. Turek holds a degree from Lakehead University.
