Bruce Chochinov is currently the Manager of Information Services for the Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division at the City of Toronto, a position held since January 2011. In this role, Bruce oversees application support and information management teams and manages a variety of IT projects, including both divisional web-based tools and extensive enterprise initiatives, along with budget development and management. Prior to this, Bruce served as the North American Operations Manager and Global IT Liaison at Mercer from September 1998 to January 2011, and worked as a Policy Planner at Metropolitan Toronto Planning from July 1990 to September 1998. Bruce holds a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from The University of Winnipeg. Education also includes attendance at Garden City Collegiate.
