José Ramón Martí is currently serving as the Public Consultation Coordinator for the City of Toronto's Parks, Forestry & Recreation since June 2022. Previously, José was the Communications Manager at The Samara Centre for Democracy from May 2015 to August 2021, where responsibilities included developing a comprehensive communication strategy, producing a range of educational and research materials, and managing media relations to enhance public engagement. José also coordinated a national initiative for civic engagement during Canada's 2015 federal election and has held various internships and roles in nonprofit and educational organizations, gaining extensive experience in public administration and communications. José is pursuing a Certificate in Dialogue and Civic Engagement at Simon Fraser University and holds a Master of Public Administration from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, along with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Western University.
