Matthew Vienneau

Matthew Vienneau is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in system administration, project management, development, technical leadership, and database administration. Since January 2008, Vienneau has been instrumental in managing the City of Toronto's custom-built business and animal licensing systems, overseeing a $25 million annual revenue stream and supporting roughly 300 users. Notable roles include leading special projects within the I&T Division, such as transitioning to new online payment systems, managing a team of 45 in Application Services with a $5 million budget, and enhancing system functionalities. Prior to his tenure with the City, Vienneau worked as an independent contractor from 1995 to 2007, developing comprehensive municipal licensing database systems. Vienneau holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Western University (1990 - 1994).
