Grant Gilmore

Grant Gilmore is an experienced Water Resources Specialist currently employed by the City of Tumwater since June 2022, focusing on education, outreach, and habitat restoration. In addition, Grant serves as a faculty member for the Wetland Science & Management Professional Certification Program at the University of Washington, which encompasses the study of wetlands' physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Prior roles include Senior Project Scientist and Environmental Manager at Skillings, Inc. from June 2014 to July 2022, as well as executive positions at various organizations, including Executive Director for the Association of Washington Business and the Thurston Economic Development Council. Grant's education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science from The Evergreen State College and an Industry Certification in Wetland Science and Management from the University of Washington. Additionally, Grant has a background in Marine Technology & Science and logistics from the United States Marine Corps.
