Jahnara Hurd serves as the City Venues Assistant Operations Manager for the City of Tuscaloosa since September 2019, overseeing day-to-day operations, event logistics, and coordination with various stakeholders. With a long-standing tenure in the Alabama Army National Guard as a Healthcare Specialist NCO since February 1999, Jahnara specializes in emergency medical treatment and health evacuation. Previous experience includes a role as MLC Supervisor/QE at SCSI LLC from September 2014 to September 2019, focusing on material flow and customer satisfaction, and serving as Supervisor/Account Manager at ABM Industries from July 2013 to September 2014, where duties included managing janitorial staff and developing procedural guidelines. Jahnara Hurd holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management/Marketing from Stillman College, earned between 2000 and 2007, along with a high school diploma from Citronelle High School.
