David Coble, MBA, EFO has a long and extensive work experience in the fire department. David began their career at the City of Fort Worth in 1984 as a Fire Fighter and steadily advanced through different roles including Fire Engineer, Fire Lieutenant, and Fire Captain. David then served in the Fire Marshal's Office before becoming the Training Instructor and Professional Development Coordinator. Coble later served as the Assistant to the Fire Chief and then promoted to become the Assistant Fire Chief. From 2013 to 2016, they held the position of Executive Assistant Fire Chief, during which they also served as the Acting Fire Chief for a brief period in 2015.
