Dale Harwell

Dale Harwell, CGCIO, is the Director of Information Services for the City of University Park, overseeing technology services including application support, telecommunications, and geographic information systems since September 2014. In addition, Dale serves as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Baptist University, teaching undergraduate MIS classes. Previous roles include Director of Administrative Services for the City of Euless, where leadership encompassed Information Services, Library, and Human Resources, and Information Services Manager for the City of Hurst, managing personnel and strategic planning. Dale’s affiliations include serving as President of the Board of Directors for 6Stones Mission Network and former leadership positions in various organizations, including the Texas Association of Governmental IT Managers and the Rotary Club of Hurst-Euless-Bedford. Dale holds an MBA in Information Systems and a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington.
