Before this role, Bob Fitzgerald had a long tenure at a Law Enforcement Agency/Government, beginning in December 1986 and retiring as a Major. Additional experience includes working as a Consultant for Urbana Police from September 2019 to September 2020 and serving as the Retired Deputy Chief of Police for the City of Urbana from January 1998 to September 2019. Bob Fitzgerald's earlier career included a position as a Tactical Officer with the Chicago Police Department from December 1986 to January 1998.
