Curtis Brown has extensive experience in municipal management and economic development, currently serving as Assistant City Manager and Director of Economic Development for the City of Urbandale since April 2013. Previously, Curtis held various positions at the City of Ankeny, including Interim Assistant City Manager and Director of Economic Development. Curtis also served as Executive Director for the Mason City Economic Development Corporation and worked as Community Development Director and Assistant City Administrator for the City of Blue Earth, Minnesota. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at Southern Utah University, Curtis also holds a Master of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from Saint John's University.
