Kristin Brostrom has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kristin started their career as an Intern at Webster, McGrath & Ahlberg, Ltd. in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Subsequently, they joined the Iowa Department of Transportation as a Transportation Engineer in 2005 and stayed with the company until 2014. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the field of transportation engineering. In 2006, Kristin took on the role of Choir Director at THE FEDERATED CHURCH OF BONDURANT, IOWA, where they continue to contribute their musical expertise. Since 2014, Kristin has been associated with the City of Urbandale, initially starting as a Senior Engineer and now serving as the Assistant Director of Engineering. Kristin'scontributions at the City of Urbandale have showcased their leadership skills and technical expertise in engineering.

Kristin Brostrom has a diverse and well-rounded education history. In 1999, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science at Wheaton College. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering at Iowa State University.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Kristin Brostrom has obtained two noteworthy certifications. In February 2010, they became a Professional Engineer in the state of Iowa, a credential awarded by the Iowa Professional Licensing Bureau. Furthermore, in October 2017, they earned the Cartegraph Certified designation, an achievement granted by Cartegraph.
