Planning Analyst - Water Conservation at City of Vancoucer

Anthony Leung, P.Geo., M.Sc., brings a diverse background in geoscience and water conservation management. Currently serving as a Planning Analyst for Water Conservation at the City of Vancouver since December 2019, Anthony manages water conservation programs aligned with the city's Greenest City Action Plan and is actively involved in the development of a city-wide Groundwater Strategy. Previously, Anthony held the position of Junior Practice Advisor at Engineers and Geoscientists BC, where the focus was on climate change and revising best management practices. Additional experience includes roles as a First Aid Instructor at St. John Ambulance Canada, a Research Associate at The University of British Columbia, and a Geologist at Taseko Mines Limited, where supervision and technical reporting were key responsibilities. Anthony's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Soil Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Ocean Sciences from The University of British Columbia.
