Maitrayee Shah

Maitrayee Shah is an experienced project coordinator and architect with a focus on development review, buildings, and licensing. Currently serving as Project Coordinator III at the City of Vancouver since January 2020, Maitrayee has advanced through various roles within the organization, including Project Coordinator II and I. Prior experience includes positions as an Architectural Designer at Krahn Group of Companies and DIALOG, where responsibilities involved preparation of drawings, reviewing design briefs, and ensuring compliance with municipal bylaws. Additionally, Maitrayee worked as a Senior Architect at Royal Court Affairs overseeing design processes and coordination with various stakeholders. An educator in architecture, Maitrayee also served as an instructor at Arts Umbrella. Maitrayee holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and has completed a course on the BC Building Code at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
