Micah Patrick Hilt currently serves as the Lead Seismic Policy Planner and Deputy Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Vancouver, focusing on strategies to reduce earthquake risk across the city's buildings and developing its first resilience strategy. Previous experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club, as well as multiple roles within the City and County of San Francisco, where Micah worked as an Urban Planner and Seismic Policy Planner. Additional work includes policy committee involvement with the League of California Cities and consulting roles at Barbary Coast Consulting and Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates. Education includes ongoing doctoral studies in Geography at The University of British Columbia and master's degrees in Urban Planning and Fine Arts from San José State University and the San Francisco Art Institute, respectively.
