Mona Dahir

Mona Dahir is a Senior Transportation Design Engineer at the City of Vancouver since January 2023, with a comprehensive background in transportation engineering. Prior to this role, Mona served as a Transportation Design Engineer with the City of Surrey from February 2020 to January 2023 and as a Road Safety EIT at Watt Consulting Group from June 2017 to February 2020. Earlier experiences include positions as a Transportation Engineering Intern at Watt Consulting Group and as an Engineering Student at the City of Courtenay. Mona began a career in engineering as a Quality Field Services Coordinator with SGJV - EGRT and held an internship at Watt Consulting Group. Additionally, volunteer experience includes working with Fraser Health Authority and serving as an instructor at the Oriental Martial Arts Academy. Mona holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2017.
