Phoenix Lam

Phoenix Lam is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in civic engagement and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Communications Manager for the City of Vancouver since July 2021, Phoenix provides expertise in communication, issues management, and media relations for the Arts, Culture and Community Services unit. Previously, Phoenix held the role of Acting Associate Director and Principal Consultant at Phoenix Lam Communications, successfully managing complex communication campaigns across various sectors. Experience also includes a Senior Communications Officer position at CBC/Radio-Canada, where Phoenix led community sponsorship initiatives and marketing campaigns, along with roles in digital communications and client management at companies such as Signals Design Group and Marketwired. Phoenix holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of British Columbia.
