Lamya Baraam

Lamya Baraam is an experienced Energy Project Manager at the City of Vaughan since December 2014, responsible for developing and overseeing energy management plans for city-owned facilities. Previously, Lamya served as an Asset Management Specialist, where expertise included asset portfolio setup, data collection strategies, and capital project management. Prior to the City of Vaughan, Lamya worked at VFA from October 2007 to December 2014, contributing to a Project Implementation group focused on capital planning solutions and managing over 5000 assets for governmental facilities. Additional experience includes a role as a Senior Costing Engineer at Altus Group. Educational qualifications consist of a Business Analysis Certificate from the University of Toronto, a diploma in Renovation-Restoration of Buildings from the University of Civil Engineering in Vienna, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad.
