Brandyn Heugel

Brandyn Heugel has over two decades of experience at the City of Walker, serving in various roles, including Administrative Captain, Administrative Sergeant, Road Patrol Sergeant, Road Patrol Officer, and Detective. Responsibilities have included supervising records and community engagement, managing training programs, and overseeing MCOLES licensing. Additionally, Brandyn has served as Union President for both COAM and POAM. Since August 2021, Brandyn has been an Adjunct Instructor at Grand Rapids Community College, teaching courses related to patrol procedures and behavioral health emergency response. Brandyn holds a degree from Grand Valley State University and has completed the School of Staff and Command program in professional leadership at Michigan State University.
