Jessica Babcock

Jessica Babcock currently serves as the Second Ward Commissioner for the City of Walker, a position held since June 2022. With extensive experience in the hospitality sector, Jessica has been the Vice President of Human Resources at Suburban Inns since 2011, and also held the role of General Manager at Holiday Inn Express from 2009 to 2011. Prior to these roles, Jessica worked as an Executive Assistant at Suburban Inns and completed an internship as a Food and Beverage Intern with the West Michigan Whitecaps in 2005. Jessica began a career in guest services management at Xanterra Parks & Resorts in 2003. In terms of education, Jessica earned a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Grand Valley State University (2001-2005) and pursued further studies in Human Resources at Davenport University (2012-2013).
