Benjamin Schuster is an experienced urban planner with a strong background in both transportation and long-range planning. Currently serving as an Associate Planner for the City of Walnut Creek since December 2022, Benjamin previously held similar positions in the City of Martinez and crafted development strategies while managing business licenses and other planning inquiries. A former Transportation Specialist for the City of San José, Benjamin emphasized data analytics to optimize transportation systems. Educationally, Benjamin holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Benjamin's diverse experience also includes roles in academic settings and project management for significant planning initiatives.
