Morrison Payne

Morrison Payne possesses nearly 30 years of legal experience, with a robust practice covering areas such as family law, civil litigation, probate, and more. Currently serving as a Master and Charter Member of the South Carolina Family Law American Inn of Court and a Municipal Judge in Edisto Beach, SC, Morrison has also held the position of Chief Municipal Judge for the City of Walterboro since 2014. As the owner of R. Morrison M. Payne, Attorney at Law, Morrison provides comprehensive legal services to clients. Additionally, Morrison is the President of the Colleton County Bar Association and has experience as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing at the Charleston School of Law. Morrison holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina Joseph F. Rice School of Law.
