Maria Pandazi

Deputy Director - Community Development at CITY OF WAUKESHA

Maria Pandazi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Maria started their career in 1988 as a Laboratory Assistant at the Medical College of Wisconsin - Department of Physiology, where they worked until 1992. Maria then joined the Planning and Design Institute in 1998 as a Planner, where they stayed until 2005. In 2005, they joined the City of Milwaukee as a Senior Urban Planner and worked there for ten years. Maria then moved on to the City of Waukesha, where they worked as a City Planner from 2015 to 2019, and subsequently became the Deputy Director - Community Development.

Maria Pandazi completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988. From 1983 to 1985, they also attended Arizona State University, where they studied Zoology/Animal Biology. Maria went on to pursue a Masters degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2000.
