Jennifer Pruitt

Jennifer Pruitt, AICP, CNU-A, LEED-AP, currently serves as the Sr. Planning Director for the City of Waxahachie since October 2021. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Assistant Director of Development Services for the City of Burleson from January 2020 to October 2021. Jennifer has extensive experience in planning management, having held several positions including Planning Manager, Planning Project Manager II, and Planning Project Manager at the City of Arlington from January 2013 to January 2020. Jennifer's career in planning began in the Carson City Planning Division, where roles included Principal Planner, Senior Planner II, Associate Planner, Assistant Planner, and Planning Technician II, from September 1997 to December 2012. Jennifer holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design, completed in 1996 and 1994, respectively.
